BioIl mio nome è Iguana Tonante, ma voi potete chiamarmi Iguana. Molti mi hanno chiesto da dove viene questo nome: per ora vi basti sapere che è una lunga storia, che coinvolge un lungo viaggio, una collana dalla forma misteriosa, una domanda di troppo e un senso dell'umorismo orribile. Meno sapete, meglio è per voi.
Sono italiano, sono nato 29 anni fa a Torino, ma vivo a Bologna da ormai 15 anni e quindi mi sento anche un po' bolognese d'adozione. Sono laureato in astronomia (astronomia, NON astrologia: se non sapete la differenza, peggio per voi). Attualmente sto frequentando un corso di dottorato di ricerca in cosmologia osservativa a Milano.
Sono membro dello Star Trek Italian Club e dò una mano all'organizzazione della convention e delle attività del club. Frequento da diversi anni una palestra di arti marziali e ho da poco superato l'esame di cintura nera di jujitsu presso la Federazione Italiana.

Many have asked me from where this name came: for the time being, you just have to know that it's a long story that includes a far-reaching journey, a mysteriously shaped necklace, an over-the-top question and an horrible sense of humour. The lesser you know, the better.
I'm Italian, I was born 29 year ago in Turin, but I've been living in Bologna for 15 years so I feel I'm bolognese by adoption. I've got myself a Master's degree in astronomy (astronomy, NOT astrology: if you don't know the difference, woe on you). Now I'm doing my PhD in observational cosmology in Milano.
I'm a member of the Star Trek Italian Club and I lend a hand in organizing the conventions and other activities of the club. I'm also part of a martial arts club and I've recently got my black belt in jujutsu with the Italian Federation.
